I see this as extremely positive.
Despite Charles being in regular contact with the head of Piaggio, Vespa has always been in another league to Vmoto. The sheer fact that they now see this as the time to electrically strike, speaks volumes about the bell curve of E-bike acceptance.
I say tuck in to Vespa's slip stream and get ready to ride the wave.
