I was itching to post yesterday as i could see anyone talking about this article.

I think a similar one was posted by the AFR, indeed IIRC this article links to it.

The gist is, Intermedia boss when asked about the Intermedia JV, states that there never was one or there isn't one now. This reminds me of GSW, where they failed to mention that partnerships had ended.

Curiously however, they dug a little deeper and found a subsidiary of BIG called Big Intermedia. The AFR article says that ASIC is looking into this particular business. I'm having trouble finding the AFR reports from yesterday. Anyway, this article has all the info.
