The odd thing is,... in consumers, when they buy something, eg a car, they tend to think the salesman wants to 'take advantage' of them, hence, the consumers are more careful here.
But when it comes to any 'salesman of loans or loan-related products', the mindset of the consumer is to think that this 'salesman' is thinking for the best of the consumer, and not for the best of the bank or credit company that the salesman represents.
