Cobalt will not 'boom' forever, and it is almost a certainty that at some point battery chemistry will change and evolve. But what is interesting as an investor in CLQ is the next 3-5 years, substitution will not happen in this time frame, and demand for cobalt and to a lesser extent nickel will be strong. Cobalt is more interesting because the supply is so concentrated and tight over that time frame.
At some point, the market will reach 'the crunch', and my hope it that CLQ will take full advantage of the situation. Do not fire (do a deal) until you see the whites of their eyes...
