They are idiots because they created the monster they now seek to destroy. It is not a new phenomenon either. And the countries that I also mentioned apart from the US and Britain are equally trigger happy and narrow minded when it comes to right and wrong. That makes them dangerous as well.
The problems that abound all have their genesis in injustices that are perpetrated in the name of justice and freedom against those amongst us who are unable to understand the reasons as to why one class of persons has a 'right' to subjugate another.
Till such time the US puts pressure on Israel to treat the Palestinians as human beings and to stop claiming the exclusive and only claim of a people to have been persecuted then there is no hope for peace.
We have watched and done so in silence whilst the Palestinians are brutalised much like what the Germans did to the Jews in the Ghettos in WW2 and accept willingly the US dominated press versions of what constitutes a terrorist. Someone without a uniform who fights back and who kills and maims.
It appears okay to kill women and children with tanks and heavily armed soldiers as well as from the safety of the air and sea. But it is not right for those who are or will be victims to fight back and do the same. If I were confronted with a similar situation I too would have little or no qualms about blowing myself up.
But what makes all of this even sadder at the end is that there is a glimmer of hope amidst all the carnage and hatred. Unfortunately for the ARAB side (not Palestinians only) is that courage to be different and to court personal danger and even disaster in the face of hostilities only comes in the streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Jews who dare to be different.
Whilst all Arab states without exception cashed in on the 'Palestinian cause' hiking up oil prices, arming themselves to the teeth and maintaining the status quo of despots on their thrones, none of them have done what the Jews their traditional enemies have dared to do. Educate their women, free their population even if they dare to be defiant and different and encourage debate even if only cosmetic.
The US again with other western powers must carry the blame for this. They have aided and abbetted the rise and the continued existence of these morons and despots who are a greater enemy to their cause than 10 Ariel Sharons.
Ben Laden is a mythical figure. If Speilberg can make dinosaurs and other mythical extince figures real and some Aussie battler make a Pig speak in Babe, then why can't the Americans make Ben Laden laugh about the September 11 incident and claim responsibility?? this is no longer high tech. It is highly suspicious. We are all dispensible.
