Did I touch a nerve dear Dr dread ? Perhaps go out and get some sun.
I own shares in both AVL and KRC... so I am hedging that one, or both will produce the goods. Not Jekyll and Hyde actually, rastus2 and rastus2

I believe in a lot of things, including the fact that within an AVL report, there is an explanation relating to the difficulties in magnetic recovery of our ore.... you don't have to believe me, or AVL's report.. you can believe whatever fairytail you deisre.. including that you are, indeed, a dr.

The context of my post was that other people had dared mention the unoxidised state of the KRC deposit made it more amiable for the V extraction... they were, I believe, mocked for saying such quasi science.. no doubt many AVL people did the mocking.

... and yet, while doing my DD, here in AVL's own document is an explanation on some of the difficulties of extracting the V from some of our high % Vanadium deposit due to the oxidised state of the ore.

I have posted the extract for you to be spoon fed (I know that is how you like to consume information).

"The vanadium at **aninta is generally associated with magnetite (an iron rich mineral) in fresh and transitional material. Magnetite (Fe3O4 or Fe2(III)Fe(II)O4) is ferrimagnetic and amenable to magnetic separation. In oxidised ore the magnetite has partially or completely altered to a variety of other forms, such as martite, maghemite, goethite and limonite, while hematite is only ferric (Fe(III)) and amenable to magnetic separation to a lesser degree or not at all.
The vanadium in the oxidised portions of the high grade zone is present in variable amounts of magnetic and non-magnetic iron minerals (see Fig 5) which can account for the high variability in the recoveries achieved in the oxide material to date. Testwork on oxide samples is ongoing."

If you are feeling up to it after you have had a nice lay down, you can read the entire announcement here

While you are at it, if you can consume a bit more, here is another helping of AVL announcements here

"Oxide TVM (titaniferous vanadiferous magnetite) ores generally show lower magnetic recovery to concentrate than transitional or fresh ore and therefore may not be as economic to process using a traditional pyrometallurgical process.
AVL is evaluating both traditional and non-traditional processing routes as it looks to maximise the value of its world class TVM resource at **anintha."

Code for... we know we have the Vanadium in our ore, and we will, much the same as KRC, seek non-traditional methods to extract the damn stuff to the best of our ability.. hopefully it will be cost effective.

I choose to believe AVL will find a cost effective way to do this... in the same way, I also believe KRC will.

I do wonder why you didn't post the other part of post here... you know, where I observed that a HC poster from AVL threads was making claims that KRC's ore had as much silica as glass... I was generous enough to post an old AVL ann that showed our ore also has up to 28% silica in it... take home message... lets not throw stones please, or even polished tur*ds, we both live in glass houses... and some of us have shares in both houses.
