The Cartesian royalty is time limited:
OGX made a payment of 380 oz gold to Cartesian in December 2017/early Jan 2018 (see Ann on 3rd Jan 2018):
"Orinoco Gold Limited (ASX: OGX) (Orinoco or the Company) is pleased to announce the first payment to its gold streaming partner Cartesian Royalty Holdings (CRH), totalling 380 ounces of gold. The next minimum payment under the streaming arrangement is due on April 30th, 2018 or earlier depending on the gold production levels of the 1Q2018."
This implies, but doesn't state explicitly, that Oct to Dec 2017 is the first quarter in the 3 year period.
in that case, the 3-year payment period ends with gold mined by 30th September 2020,
provided the minimum of 17,600 ounces has been paid.
If you are a long-term investor, as I am, then the Cartesian royalty is not relevant to the long term SP.
The Cartesian royalty is geographically limited:
The Cartesian royalty applies to gold from Cascavel only.
It does not apply to any gold OGX finds and processes from other tenements that are now funded for an expanded exploration program such as Sertão, Tintiero, Antena and Eliseo.

Hey thanks T
Ok, so cuscavel has a 20 percent tax on it till 2020 and all the rest of the tenements a 70 % tax given to Anglo as part of the JV.
Really hope they clear up this JV, whoever said the JV is irrelevant is irrelevant.
With all this money they are spending on discovery and drilling what are Anglo going to spend their 9 million on? Anyone else worried?
