My recollection of what he said is that vax is fully budgeted for the year. I guarantee you that people and bills are still being paid. There will not be any new trials but research will be ongoing to keep researchers utilised. Problem is that research has no value without trials so we are just spinning wheels hoping for a big cash injection. Great if it comes, but a wasted draining of scarce resources if it doesn't or if we end up flogging it cheap.
Hence, why I just want it gone. Would rather put all resources and management time into adapt.
