Good on u Justmeanu and Fatsoh , the rest are wasting their lives.
The bottom line is to understand that matter was never created it has always existed, the same goes for life and similarly for time as you can’t have a beginning or an end if something has always existed.
The Middle East has been a trouble spot for thousands of years and yet the religious go on quoting text from these people as if it was absolute fact convinced that all was translated correctly when even today we can’t believe yesterday’s headlines as they may have been taken out of context or been misquoted.
Most of the religious leaders and their scribes were probably very intelligent men but they lacked the knowledge and science that we have today and so they filled in the gaps with their imagination.
Evolution has given our minds a survival mechanism or instinct which helps us to accept instructions from our parents or teachers and believe them because everyone else does so they must be fact, and this goes for religion.
I fully accept that some of the posters are extremely intelligent people it’s just that they have not thought enough or opened their minds to other possibilities.
Once again if you can accept that the universe and everything else has always been and had no beginning or end then the concept of a god will seem most improbable.
