It's high frequency trading algorithms, otherwise known as bots. Used by institutional investors and broking houses that have direct access to the markets, so they don't pay brokerage.

I can't figure out what this one is trying to do selling every minute or every few seconds now. They're normally there to test how the market reacts to small moves in the share price, but this is too frequent for that.

Maybe it's trying to establish some kind of average across the day? Make it look like there was a lot of trades at 4.2 as the average price. Dunno why.

Also, there's a "Running commentary on share price" thread around here that's probably better for this type of discussion. Please try and keep each of the threads distinct. Makes it easier to find stuff later.
