when the 50.1 is reached will be the first we will hear of it, in these situations would there be a running tally of some description?
On another note, I spent some time discussing this situation with another close to me regarding this situation.
He has been an investor for 60 years, and has just about seen it all. His extraordinary lifestyle is funded by investments and is very generous to boot. He is about to go to the Masters, then a week in Hawaii, on the best golf course's on offer and just got back from his annual ski trip too Aspen. That covers one quarter of his annual travel.
He sold his stake yesterday and advised me to do the same, his reasoning? anything could happen from here, he is not expecting another bid, he believes the deal is done and nothing better is forthcoming.
He has, in the past seen the deal taken off the table causing the parabolic lift in price to reverse. ( I would rather .155 today than back to below 10, not saying that will happen...but)
He has seen stakeholders blocks, which has caused injunctions, causing your money sit in limbo, plus numerous other scenarios.
I am yet to sell, and think the deal stinks, but my life and the outcome I want to arrive are malleable and hence I need to be able to change as required.
For me it take a big chunk out of my mortgage, not as much as I liked but accelerates the process. The goalposts have moved, I need to re-align.
Some will say that I'm spineless and should be standing shoulder to shoulder to get more, I look at it this way, the damage it will do to my mortgage in interest saved, and accelerating into my other mortgage is worth a lot today compared to waiting again for a possible better outcome. I reckon interest rates will be on the rise shortly, and that measures into my calcs.
We all want our finical outcomes sorted, and this is very close for me.
    I'm just a messenger.
    I still hold.
