Over the longer-term, underlying value WILL determine the SP of a company - but the short-term is a crap-shoot with plenty of 'hidden stories' affecting the price (often driven by very skilled charlatans who better understand what is going on).
Have you ever been to a popular tourist destination - before the tourists arrive en masse? If you look carefully you'll see the beggars, the guides, the trinket-sellers, the pickpockets, etc getting into position to conduct their daily 'business' - helping separate the tourist hordes from at least some of their money - often without the rubes realising what is happening...
The exact same thing occurs on the stock market! All those 'locals'/'market regulars' hoping to take advantage of the country bumpkins that come to the big smoke occasionally - and are easily distracted by the noise and bustle...
All listed companies eventually realise they have little control over day-to-day SP fluctuations - it is simply a part of the cost of being listed? - and get their heads down and focus on the big picture. Which is exactly what our BoD appears to be (well down the track on) delivering. Be grateful and be patient for that process.
Oh - and keep your hands firmly on your wallet/purse - and if the spiel sounds too good to be true then... it probably is!!
But then most of us know all this ... but sometimes we just really ... so want to believe.
Me, I'm carefully buying on the dips ...still - but not trading (as it never seems to work for me). Now if I can only watch carefully enough, I'm sure I can work out which shell has the pea... it looks so easy!!

don't you ask yourself though..
"who's got it wrong right now" ?
Us, with people on here who seem very well upto speed with the workings on BGS, or the market - who have cut us by half from the top price ? The market may be wrong, but it rarely loses....
having a bit of a down day on this today, so apologies all, but just having trouble seeing anything positive right now...
