The general logic might work, but the numbers aren't so good.
Lets pretend AVB were a $200m MC company and Centro/PB/Pantera were $600M worth of assets and you bought a 10c.
The company goes to $800M and your share to 40c.
OZL is a $2.7B company with a SP of $9.00
Add $600M to get to $3,3B and your SP goes to $11.00 (300M SOI and $600M)
20% v 3 bagger ...
Maybe that's the issue, in very simple terms.
