The way I understand it is that the permits will be awarded very quickly once the finance 'letter' or agreement is signed and sighted.The leases that are 8 weeks off are nothing to do with CVI. (They are the Solangol round) We are only interested in the local Angolan lease round, and they have already started issuing them.
Once we get the letter in what Smyth says is 'the middle of next week' (or this coming week to be clear), then we could get news very quickly thereafter on our Angolan onshore lease application.
