I agree, why wouldn't they.. The notion that graphite mining is going to become dead by the numbers from the Hazer process is ludicrous to me. Like one junior company (if their patents are successful in 18 - 24 months time) are going to have a monopoly on the entire graphite market so much so to render any future graphite mining not or barely profitable, or companies won't want to buy from graphite miners is a ridiculous notion and wishful thinking at best imo.
The EV revolution is in the very early stages. People will get over the lithium craze soon. Copper, nickel, cobalt is where it'll be at, and eventually when this thing picks up steam in 5 - 7 years time you're going to see graphite go bonkers also. Assuming solid state batteries aren't all the rage in 2022-2024. I think it'll take a bit longer to perfect them but we'll see.
