The article is fabricated. I watched the original interview Robertson did on CNBC back in 2004, he made nothing of the sort of claims mentioned in the article. The most dramatic thing he said in the interview was that, in reply to the interviewer's question about the US Current Account Deficit, he "didn't see an easy way out for the US consumer". It's just another one of these Urban legends that get passed around the net, until it's so widely circulated enough people fall for the hoax.
