As Vintage has previously said, 85% of all current illicit drug testing processes in work places, schools etc are done with urine based tests. SBN has a product to address this market but its first mover advantage will be clearly defined in the oral testing process as the trend toward this far more convenient and less invasive process gathers momentum. However, the trend toward oral base testing methodologies in these environments is clearly evident and compelling and is now being seriously reviewed by Government agencies throughout the developed world. Again, as Vintage suggested in an earlier post, the timing of the FDA clearance for the Oraline product could not be better timed!
I read with interest the referenced article from the FDA agency but add that much has transpired since then. SBN have now filed for FDA clearance on Oraline and once attained, Sun Biomedical Ltd. will be the only company in the world that will have FDA benchmark status and therefore an enormous commercial advantage over competitors in the ever growing area of oral illicit drug testing.
