    Had a chuckle at this thread - particularly the nearology of railway lines / stations.

    Reminds me of an auction brochure I have for Youanmite Township - between Dookie and Katamatite - 18th July 1889.

    Use of flowery phrases

    - land close to R/w "permanently increases in value"

    - "most flourishing"

    Terms - 1/3rd deposit, balance in 18 months @ 6%

    Today there is one house, a closed school and a grain silo !

    Obviously not a suburb of Perth !
