What I do not like about shifting the goal post is that when people are working they can adjust there goals and take measures to adjust to the rules but when you have the rules changed after you retire you no longer have the same ability rearrange you finances,if rules were grandfathered then there would be certainty.
I am sure you would not like your pension being cut by 25% and there are many like me but even more who got whacked by Turnbulls changes and are going to whacked again by the proposed changes that Shorten is proposing.
I think Labor have underestimated the amount of angst in the community and particularly the pensions and part pensioners feel against the constant changes to superannuation especially the hip pocket nerve.

Yep Howard should hot have changed the rules.
Super was rolling along nicely until he intervened to make it a giant tax avoidance scheme with the wealthiest accruing by far the biggest benefit.
