POS is in the "bad stock" corner so I think it might be a good time to look at the General Nickel market with a fresh N4 update. No one can deny that short of a “Black Swan” event, the Nickel market is improving. So here goes with an Uncle Col Easter special.

N4 Update.
Most people that know me know a care squat about Technical Analysis because it has no basis. “The price is going up therefore the price is going up”, and so on. I am more interested in why the price might be going up in a more fundamental dimensionless analysis.

Eg. “How is the price of WSA going up or down compared the NP?”
No Y axis dimension and a true test of current worth as far as Buy or Sell. You might ask where I can buy a book on this sort of analysis. Funny actually seams all the booksellers are T/A’s. Work that out for yourself.

Eg. “How do I make a cricket ball reverse swing?”
Alter the ratio of internal forces compared to viscous forces around the boundary layer of the balls surface nearest to the leading edge like every other cricketer in the world does, but don’t get caught doing it. Work that out for yourself as well.

Anyway distractions aside, the main premise of N4 is the re-establishment of historical Ni/Cu price ratio. Let’s look at the current long term monthly of the Ni/Cu ratio. Y axis is a smoothed ratio and therefore dimensionless. X axis is time in months.


So looking at recent history;
The establishment of the NPI industry with Indonesian ore.
The re-stocking of NPI industry with Philippine ore.
Gina Lopez environmental concerns.
All bets off, ore from every one. (WSA and IGO shorts)
N4 Revolution.

Nickel has come a long way in the last 7 months and N4 is less than half way done.
POS has gone from 2c, well actually we are suspended so technically POS has gone nowhere. The price of great management.
