    Hi Folks

    Back onto Brzkov.

On the 31 August 2007 we were advised that 3 of the 4 projects were unsuccessful.

4 months later Brzkov, as anticipated, was denied as well.

Why 4 additional months for Brzkov?

The reasons were the same as the first 3.

From what I can determine, it appears that the community aren't against mining uranium...they are just worried about the impact environmentally...not helped by previous exploration/mining campaigns.

    As complex as it all appears to be, one can also see the relative simplicity here in;

    1. Assuring and demonstrating Urans committment and processes in environmentally sound mining practices AND rehabilitation.

2.That the State Raw Material Policy is not binding on Government. Govt in 2007 gave Rozna an unlimited exploration mandate. Therefore in itself, and with the strong backing of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the support of State Uranium company Diamo, it appears it may not be as difficult as one might imagine.

    and

    3. The reasoning behind no further exploration needed ignores the processes needed for JORC.
So that in itself is not a valid reson to stop further exploration to confirm existing data.

It also demonstrates the amount of work done in the past so that is clearly a positive if the project is finally secured.

So folks while we have seen delay after delay here in Czech we need to be objective enough to see Uran has made pioneering steps into this country and its first mover advantage shouldnt be squandered now and left for others to capitalise on later on.

I am expecting Pribram in 2008 to give Uran its Czech project.
I am also mindful that Brzkov could be granted based on the information we have been given.

Czech isnt a lost cause...by a long way.

..and theres a lot of closed mines in Czech..some closed due to low uranium prices.

Brzkov is estimated at 1260 tonnes as listed on the website below. No grades were available.
Does anyone here have other estimates?
    U evident to 450 metres.

Just wondering what Australian exploration methods/approach might be able to do there.
