i had enough of these yobbos some time back. A shame really, as I grew up idolizing our cricketers. yes, great crickters and they work hard at it but absolutely bereft of class, humility or a sense of fair play. I don't think any fair minded person appreciates what went on in this test. And that includes Gilly, who was a favourite of mine. His antics to claim Dravid just showed that the prize is worth more than the respect. Well, I have no control of the prize, but I do control who I give my respect to.
Incidentally, did anyone see the 7.30 report on ABC - Jim Maxwell, the head of ABC radio sports broadcasting said that Ponting and the senior players had to 'pull their heads in'. Classic stuff. Nearly pooped myself when he said it but shows how deep this feeling has become even among our own senior observers of the game.
