I realise your chronology mirrors the ASX announcements. But it cannot be correct and complete because you cannot have the Trading Halt (11.08am) (your point 1) before the Trading Halt Request (11.12am) (your point 2).
Anjuli's "price query" of 29 March precedes any Trading Halt Request (or Trading Halt).
It is the start of the sequence in a sensible chronology - but it doesn't become public domain until it is responded to - when we see it in the announcement Response to ASX Price Query.
I think AVZ (ie. Matt o Hara) simply didn't read the "when and where to send your response" section in the initial "price query" and so sent the request for trading halt to Ben Secrett rather than Anjuli and then the system presumably passed it back to Anjuli to deal with, which she did by granting the trading halt request.
So the chronology would be:
29-3-2018 (Thursday after market close)
1. Anjuli to AVZ (Matt O Hara) - price query (on thursday's trading and ML's twittering)
2. AVZ (Matt O Hara) (misdirects) to Ben - request for trading halt.
3. Anjuli (gets system redirection to her) - Trading Halt granted
4. AVZ - Responds to price query (Thursday evening around 8pm)
Tuesday 3-4-2018 before market opens:
5a. Isabelle to AVZ - further query ( <-- speculaton by me)
Or 5b. AVZ realise they need to amend or add to 4. ( <- speculation by msn81)
6. AVZ to Isabelle - request for voluntary suspension (to respond to ASX queries).
7. Isabelle grants voluntary suspension.
