Agree, soybean oil is currently over 50c/lb - and estimates assumed half that. Oil has gone up, but not doubled so maybe it isnt a realistic business any more.

New Scientist reports that most Biofuels actually cost more carbon than saved so I cant even cycle to the meeting with a smug eco-smile - (http://environment.newscientist.com/channel/earth/energy-fuels/mg19626343.800-is-the-biofuel-dream-over.html). On that basis, green leaning govts are not going to subsidise this.
Maybe they should go dig for gold or oil or something. Uranium anyone? Just kidding.
And whats with the price? After closing on 19 December at .05c we all waited anxiously to hear the big news (whether good, bad or plain ugly) - so great was the splash that it has rocketed to a close today of (fanfare, tadaaaa) .05c...
