Interesting questions KB but what your question highlight is that many of the cheerleaders and critics of FAR on this forum are in that 3-4 year holding time frame and called themselves "long termers" and hold themselves out to be the oracles of FAR. Theses are the guys who jumped on the bandwagon when it pulled up to SNE parking lot.
There are another group of holders who have taken the long road trip to the parking lot taking the risk averaging down along the way.
    What's my point you ask?
Simple there are some who are hanging on by their fingernails and some who are sitting comfortable on 40%+ gains so not all money is dead, it's just dead to those who are in the majority on this forum and make the most noise.
HC should do away with those useless Sentiment & Position requirements and replace them with one simple question AVERAGE HOLDING PRICE, I have no doubt there would be a positive correlation between some of the more extreme comments you get on here and where the the poster sits on that scale.

I recall in 2006 reading an article about a little company who wanted to follow in the footsteps of HDR, now a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then but I feel assured that that heritage remains at the heart of FAR and it's management, and rightly or wrongly believe that what HDR achieved in terms of SP appreciation is achievable again by FAR.
