It's a huge problem in smaller poorer countries.
Huge numbers of people who accomplishes anything of note: scientific, technological, research, sports, writing, shows academic brilliance or develops high skilles in any industrial operation, specialist of any kind. Get' some sort of skilled worker visa or citizenship in one of developed countries in EU, USA, Canada, Australia.
One of the countries I read about has a population of about 6-7mil and loses 20-30,000 young people to emigration per year. 90% of whom are highly skilled or deegree educated. Including 200 doctors and medical staff (staff of entire smaller hospital) every year.
The country is having trouble keeping hospitals open, let alone work on being competitive in free market.
Talk about intellectual theft lol
