Mentioned the plastic bag issue to a checkout girl at Woolies today. She said they ran out of plastic bags for a brief period one day last year and they had total chaos & near rioting as people struggled with the problem of how to get their groceries home. Not a vote-winning idea, that one. I think our minister for environment will have to back-pedal.
