Exactly right, if you don't want to exercise the options, sell them to someone else. There is still a buyer for them at 28c. 28c is better than nothing if they lapse.
ALthough there are an awful lot of options for sale. After the last two months ( market generally, not GDY ) I can see why there are a lot of folks not so keen on exercising this month.
