Dow will not go up tomorrow..
Tho I am not betting the farm on that. Just my opinion. Its friday, market jittery and nobody wants to be left holding over weekend.
Same situation with the ASX. not surprise about the higher opens caused by excitement from DJIA close. Smart money would have sold at high. Bluechips are way down today across the board.
I seem to think that ASX has a better grasp of the global future expectations than the States. IMO there was no reason for it to rally on the back of Bank American takeover of countrywide. Each had varying degrees of exposure to subprime with the latter more exposed. Don't see any fundamental reasons as BankAmerica is just swallowing a smaller fish at their own terms. You'll see CW holders get burnt.
