It would appear that the Chinese are back buying from LME stockpiles after being 'out of the market' for the last couple of months whilst negotiating term contracts with the major supplies for this year.
Orders for LME copper have jumped to 27725 tonnes this week which will be reflected in lower physical stocks over coming weeks.
