I started this thread on 'General" since I saw Musharraf's statement as something designed to defray criticism of himself in Pakistan.
As such, I believed (stll do) it is only of signifigance in Pakistan and so did not properly meet the guidelines for the 'Politics' forum.
However, it is producing good debate.
AND SO - I've copied the initial post over to 'Politics'. Please make any further posts on the matter over there. If you are replying to a post on this current 'General' thread, simply provide a lear reference to that in your post.
