History is relevant though -- very relevant.

Governments persisted with the BS of weapons of mass destruction long after troops at the coal face were saying - there is nothing there

they just persist with the BS to save face -- and, worse - made the story up in the first place


so, -- do we really think that just these few years later that they now don't make stories up?


about the only thing one can be certain of is that people have probably been killed and hurt - and, great people at that - Syrians are very friendly - they are at the top of the list of friendly/welcoming peoples in the world


and, that any retaliation will again - just kill and injure more lovely people


sure, some turds will get killed as well - but, gas, bombs and bullets always kill others besides the target -- and often, the targets are just normal people.


It's very simple to sit in the Kremlin and issue orders, it's very simple to sit in the Oval office and issue instructions, and, it's very easy to fly a plane and drop some drums of chemical and it's also very easy to fire some missiles off a ship at a spot on the map hundreds of kilometres away



it's not so easy to kill a child standing in front of you ---- that actually takes some guts
