No I would not claim the UK did the original chemical attack in Dhouma. What I would say is that there was no chemical attack in Dhouma at all, even a child can see the videos are faked .
All politicians lie in the interests of their country, that's there job but also sometimes they tell the truth, the trick is to try to work when there lying eg When Boris Johnson admits that they fund the white helmets 40 or 60 million pounds , he's obviously telling the truth. But then he lies by claiming they are simple first responders trying to save the poor Syrian people. A little truth, followed by a pack of lies in one short interview, Because the white helmets are the main source for fake videos and and lies about chemical weapons attacks. Jaish el-Islam are the rebel group who were in Dhouma and want you to believe they suffered a chemical weapons attack are they telling the truth ?
When you have a simplistic, light minded world view "I believe Western politicians and media, I don't believe the Russians", then you can find yourself in bed with Boris Johnson, Jaish el-Islam and some white helmets, and a very sore bottom.
