I can understand what you are saying but what makes any stock undervalued in todays environment of uncertainty?
Many had said that the book value of CNP (Centro) was above $2, I even heard a few analysts call it $3 plus. Now people are rushing to the door to get out at 60c!
There are no certainties in the market we are in today. Earnings forecasts are being cut and will continue to be therefor decreasing stock value. When profits are falling so will be their dividends, once again reducing the value of a stock.
No sane man or woman wants to buy stock when it's dropping hard. The reality is, we are in and on our way to a bear market (20% drop from highs).
Why buy now when you can buy for less soon? Why even hold now? Things aren't getting any better soon and I believe the worst has yet to come.
No logical reason to be buying at this moment.
