I'm not too preoccupied with the US dollar gold price I'm more interested in the Aussie Dollar going into a tail spin.

This BLK situation reminds me of a very similar company 35 years ago, Sons of Gwalia.

Sons of Gwalia was a 25 cent share for about year with a break even gold mine. The Aussie dollar fell from 90 US cents to 75 and the Sons of Gwalia shares went from 25c to $4, with nothing else changing.

I'm thinking the $AU is about to tank pretty soon. When (if) this happens we will be seeing everything in an entirely different light.
