Amazing how ppl don't understand risk and valuation. They think profit is in the bag and the theoretical NPV is risk free. Where will price of cobalt be 5 or 10 years after mining starts ? Isn't mine life something like 25 years or longer - what happens when cobalt supply is so large and uneconomical in late 2020s. Are nickel grades high enough to sustain operations when other nickel miners at 3-4% grades shut in. You think AUZ will be mining then. The hype has waned as investors realise that a) profits are years out : b) capex is huge and funding based on a volatile commodity is tricky c) low grades are only good if price of mineral is sky high ie unsustainable in long term as in 5 years plus and a bunch of many other risks such as capex blow outs , programme delays etc Look at ARL , PGM , CLQ and many more. Stocks are returning to fundamentals and the smart money has moved on for now.
