ICE is a distribution partner - maybe they have pulled the pin. Doubtful that would propagate a TH

Telstra is NOT a re-seller of OHM as yet but

• Has been in discussions for months now
• Has been training staff
• Needs some good press following the loss thanks to the NBN (which, the words of the immortal K.B-W will be Over Before It Began)
• Needs some good press following the revelation around slow broadband speeds

So, assuming ICE is a re-seller and is not cancelling its agreement it would not make sense to make an announcement about something that you don't already have in place would it?

If you are deep in negotiations and it falls through then it's over - announce as per Noveda. Granted they did HT before announcing Zentri but perhaps were less mature then - who really knows

However if it's to be penned and joint announcements need to be made then a TH is quite necessary. Plus the terms of any deal will need to be summarised for the market, some matters are likely CIC and lawyers of each party will need some hours to review.

I'm expectant of the Telstra deal being inked - maybe its a bit leftfield too.

I also echo @Milo7's sentiment - I am no fan of Telstra (they don;t deserve Buddy IMO) but I also agree that it is probably better to be in cahoots than not - hope so anyway.
