Another issue that may become more important in supply and pricing for Cobalt is the fact that perhaps 20% of Congo's Cobalt production (Congo seems to be about 2/3 rds of world production) comes from so-called "artisan mines" which use child labour, and users of Cobalt (which are mostly the high-reputation-value tech and industrial companies) are coming under pressure to have ethical and audible supply chains (eg Tesla may soon have to answer the question "is the new Tesla vehicle produced with child or slave labour?; ditto Apple phones etc etc etc). This could result in partial-removal of this supply and impact overall Cobalt supply and pricing.
By comparison, HIG can clearly say "RAMU Cobalt is ethically produced".
