I don't reckon anything good will be above the LAS. When a hydrothermal system is emplaced the rock fracturing and fluid flow is either fluid pressure driven in all directions or focused along a preferred zone of weakness. What we are seeing IMO is the former. This would indicate that fluids were able to travel a greater distance away from the host intrusion and the core of the system suggesting to me that the best mineralisation will lie below the LAS. This is confirmed to a certain extent by the fact that the veins in hole 17 were much juicier than those seen in 22. Reading much more into what is happening at the moment wanders into the realm of pure speculation so It's best to let the bit do the talking. I would suggest that the intersects drilled thus far are not that great. This would fit the mineralising model well. A painful wait but a good shot at an actual discovery IMO. Cheers CC
