Granted .... but the article was the 16th April and the sp has remained at around similar levels since then .... as I have said before, most people who remain in Myer at this point have decided ‘come what may’ or they would have sold by now and cut their losses ? ...
..... IMO MK will clearly demonstrate in his meetings the difference these plaza managers can expect to receive $ wise in the two scenarios; I am sure they would be better to except the negotiated figure now and keep the Myer footprint as opposed to the reduced figure or huge vacant spaces left behind if Myer folds altogether ? While Scentre thinks they will be better off without Myer - let’s see if that scenario unfolds how easily they are filling that retail space in the next couple of years ?
