Barney1,
Thanks for your reply, as per usual I came across this by accident on the GSK site..........it says a lot of things to me, as you said there are still a lot of US Stockpiling orders to be filled and the 81 million will not be completed till the end of 2008. To tell you the truth I haven,t looked a quantities of orders lately, but I agree there is still a lot to be filled.........I am of the opinion that this obvious public disclosure of Relenza Stockpiling orders rising for 2008, makes me think the next quarter results are going to be definately bigger than the last advertised results as the Draft order document for US stockpiling is filed in November and paid for and delivery from memory is March the following year.
I also think it could be the end of the game playing with GSK........ as you mentioned it could harm their case, I suspect some sort of arrangement/deal has been struck already with Biota to settle in May............the new CEO Mr Andrew Witty steps in as new CEO in May and it would make sense that the settlement is after he goes to save face........so to speak. This report just confirms another piece of the puzzle for me.
I have come across a lot of clues that I can,t quiet piece together...........but they are slowly coming together.
Cheers dma
