I applaud your efforts. Its such a challenge here because nobody appears to be able to get it through to management that there are serious flaws in their approach to shareholders and updating them and the market.

Its been too easy to just say its classified info or confidential. Of course we are aware of 'some' of these issues the company faces...that is as much as we ourselves can imagine. We cannot be aware of something we do not know, so our empathy/understanding is limited.

We simply have not been provided with the shareholder updates that are warranted here...particularly with the state of the share price, the failure to secure any projects and the inability to be able to articulate anything that supports the continued confidence and investment in this company.

If Uran cannot come up with supporting information then they are not trying hard enough.

I made a comment yesterday that seemed to slip by a number of posters here..perhaps..

    Is this damage control?

    Or is it controlled damage?

Any amount of analogies can be provided here to demonstrate this.

Is there (and I do not know) an advantage for anyone/or any party for the shareprice to be at these lower levels?

Who gains? Who are the winners here?

Why hasnt the company continued the strong media/communications push it did in 2006?

Folks I am not anti management or Uran. I am invested here. Its in my interest to support the cause.
I am pro communications and that is where I am at loggerheads with the company.
My 45 day wait for the Chairman and then the MD to contact me is testimony to that.

I am not seeing enough from this company that suggests they are committed to the cause here. I hear about it, I understand secrecy/sensitive negotiations are taking place.
But I dont 'see' that. The market doesnt 'see' that.

Ive said it before, the passion doesnt 'appear' to be there. Its just not visible. And believe me I want to be wrong on this.

There are businesses out there, particularly new businesses that find a product or service and think they have the goose that layed the golden egg.
They sit. They wait. They open their doors for business. But the response is underwhelming.
It takes hard work to 'sell' your business. You've got to be 'out there' 'accessible' and you need to be congruent and committed in your approach.
If you deviate, or 'drop the ball' it shows.

The comparative advantages Urans business model has to 95% of its peers has not been utilised or promoted.

Many of us invested on those advantages. I invested on the enterprising nature and extreme confidence of Kate Hobbs. The backing of Michael Kiernan. I was VERY impressed with her, and her media push and business plan. I loaded up. It was clear to me. This company had foresight. They targetted the right metal/energy. They could get to it before 95% of other contenders. They had excellent networks. Govt backing. They forecast 'several' (not 1) production opportunities within 12 months. The risk appeared to me to be considerably lesser than other juniors rated at higher MC valuations.

Folks, that enthusiasm and passion ended and with it a lot of us have lost a lot of money..albeit 'on paper'to this point.

We need Uran to 'connect' with its shareholder base and the market.

We need honesty and transparency and this is particularly the case with the increasingly complex and complicated Discovery arrangement and what they have..or dont have.
We still dont know about Discovery well over 12 months later.

I would like to think the majority of holders here support current management. BUT..its a two way street.
It has been a take take relationship unfortunately.
And we desperately need Uran to see this.

Shareholders are owed much here..and on so many levels.

Uran 'appears' more like a religion/cult than a company. We are asked to have faith in something we cant see. Not to question something that has myriads of questions. To trust the process here. We are not given adequate information.

Lets hope Pat Ryan and Kate Hobbs can get this company on the road this year and finally demponstrate to us that they have what it takes to get projects and production opportunities AND secure Discovery in that process in a deal that acknowledges the hardships of the last 12 months and the hard times shareholders have faced because of it.

At this point I support them both, despite concerns about their approach to shareholders.

Soon enough we will find out where this company is...or isnt at.
