Firstly I apologise if I pose more questions than answers.

If there's a source theory at play here, then the talks with the Yandeyarra people are going to be likely important imo.  It seems that many big roads point east-ish.  Just my humble opinion from looking at the maps and recent discovery of nuggets, particularly when overlaid with historical findings and descriptors.
The occurrence of gold appears to be extensive and there is consistency in the morphology of nuggets (Flat weathered, pitted) found hundreds of km apart.

Are we looking at an ancient mass transport system across the Craton, or an in-situ deposition, or as some suggest, deposition and then transportation?

I have always struggled with the oxygenation/de-acidification theory and I am personally leaning towards a source.  If there is a source for this gold, then it is going to be rather large.   Fine gold simultaneously occurring with nuggets is very telling and may be either result of weathering during transportation or partial deposition after main nugget formation.
How deep does the gold lie here?
Are these Mt Roe basalt/Conglomerate layers residing below ground and how extensive is their alteration/folding etc?

If the far west was coastal, then east would likely have been the high ground.

If Wits and Pilbara were sisters at one point, could the Wits have been the extreme west and hence the finest, most weathered deposition?

For me it seems that NOVO and DEG are in the front row of the stalls with ARV jostling for a closer seat.  Out East, the likes of PIO and CLY in the vicinity of the Yandeyarra are possible beneficiaries of the main story unfolding. Kangan looks very interesting, as the main story is possibly waiting to be told at depth.

Smaller companies are likely to wait for the puzzle to fall into place and ride the coat tails.  Some may well be sitting on the main prize.  If it's as big as some think, then the majors will want in.

So from Newmont to PIO and everyone in between, there will likely be many interesting stories unfolding as the QH/CSIRO/etc theories get put to the test.

Joining the dots is getting very very interesting..
