why not build it near the existing coalfire plants at collie. All the existing infrastructure exists as far as transmission lines are concerned. You only have to drive past collie to see the huge change in landscape from the coal mines there. Whilst its impressive to see in regards to scale, they are destroying large areas of Jarrah forrest, then in the rehabilitation stage often revegetate with commercial Pine plantations. A nuclear power plant there would certainly bring an end to that.
