Ann: Change in substantial holding, page-9

Hey Sandy and @PatienceToWin ... I'm not holding much BAL anymore (still holding shares from last years CR), but still check in from time to time.

Has there been any recent info on milk supplied from local farmers? I only ask cause going back a couple of years, it was a very visible initiative they were pursuing/supporting.

They've coped flack in the past about suppliers being from overseas, but the reality is the local market wouldn't be able to consistently supply the quantity they need to be a viable single option (at this stage anyway).

After the last AGM, I briefly spoke with the newly appoint GM of Food, Mikki Silverman, about local farmers, and she indicated there was news to come on this - in fact she seemed kind of excited about it???

I've not seen any news on this since then, but as I said, I'm only checking in from time to time.

Your post about a new ultra premium range has made me wonder if they somehow plan to tie this in with local suppliers... and in the same move, try to start addressing claims they're not sourcing from local suppliers?
