I believe we could be in for ten years of sideways movement / slight downward in the market, although there will be individual stock opportunities. The 30's depression had stocks that defied the general mood of the market, not all went south as is generally thought.
So do we buy the stocks that have dropped the most for a bargain?

Look for a 100 / 200 stocks that have stood up to the rout cpmared to the rest in their sector ...............
