You sure get different indicator readings to me.
Friday's RSI was 19.23 and today 15.41 on my XJO.
As far as those earlier examples are concerned,
the lowsest recording was 8.89 on 20/10/87 of course and the RSi stayed below 20 for 9 trading days.
In '84 the low reading was 12.51 and RSI stayed below 20 for 7 trading days.
