Indeed, many mining companies messed up their forecast and cannibalized their own markets.
Iluka was definitely one of them. Fortunately it was not half as bad as the iron ore majors, that destroyed the value of iron ore for many years to come (forget seeing 67% Fe above USD 100/t).
