Hi race, I did hear that comment,
" we'll roll over immediately into the next round of 20,000m infilling but also another area the Carrier De L'est area"
.........which is why I raised the point. There seems to be lots of talk about it, but there was an announcement for the signing of the first 20,000m, but not for the rest.  I'd just like to see an announcement stating the next 20,000m had been contracted with drilling to be continuous over the next 3 months.
There might be a bit of cat and mouse happening in the negotiations over the next contract, but I'd hate to see that one of the nearby companies had signed 'our rigs' for 3 months. IMO the sooner it is contracted, the better the market will react to the company getting on with business.

    Lucky_cat,
"G'day Oz, happy to have you here sir. Can i ask what was the defining moment that you felt comfortable to jump into AVZ and how long have you been in for if you feel comfortable sharing? (sorry is the question has already been asked+answered). Also any plans to start up an AVZ Email Group?"

I originally bought AVZ last year at 3.1c and 2.1c, but sold way too early. For me the new mining laws reduced a lot of my 'sovereign risk' concerns, as it seems to be agreed by all sides of politics in DRC, so offers some ongoing certainty. Also the large drilling program, the TA position coming back 30%+ from the highs seemed like a good position to enter. There is no question in my mind about the size and quality of the resource, but have always considered the time frames suggested a bit too optimistic. I only bought back on Tuesday, but still suspect we could go down another couple of cents if we go into May without any new assays, reports on drilling etc, so I'm prepared to buy a few more should we get a spike down to 18c-19c (possibly a shakeout before reversing).

The circumstances and shareholdings are vastly different to what was happening at PLS when the email group was started, so no, no plans to do that here.

While observing AVZ for the last year, I've always thought the tactic of having a 'for sale' shingle hung out, was not the best way to deliver shareholder value. IE why should the Chinese pay Australians $1B+ for something they could have bought from Comminaire for $10m a year or so ago?? More recently there seems to have been a change in attitude towards we are mining this either alone or JV. My own personal preferences have always been to develop and mine great resources, not try and flip them for a quick small profit.
The recent decent drill intercepts, that showed the pegmatites here to be much thicker than thought by most, plus the spodumene that TTX found 7-8km to the south-west all show me this system is much bigger than anyone thought and a lot more valuable than an early T/O (say 10c last year) would have given shareholders.

It will take time (years), but with careful development and management, a resource of this magnitude will produce a good income for many years and should also be greatly beneficial to the locals. (providing AVZ don't do a swifty like Glencore at Katanga)
