I use commsec you can trade straight away. You have a running balance with them until it clears. Therefore you can sell and buy now.
I actually use to do some real risky stuff and buy with money I didn't even have when I was day trading. Made some big bucks off EGO and IMI, but lost most of that on TKG. I had to sell some shares to cover the difference :P (ps dont do it you can lose alot! I don't do it anymore).
